What it does
A customer record, a sales order, and a shipment with its lot allocation are connected, so the question a recall asks, which consignees received which lot, is answered from the shipment record itself instead of reconstructed from invoices under time pressure.
Shipments can be created, shipped, delivered, or canceled, and each state carries its lot allocation forward into the traceability record Make already holds.
